KGA developed the first bespoke field system over
twelve years ago and launched The Field System2000
together with our unique quota calculating system - quotabreaker!
in January 2001. The fieldplus suite of
management systems was enhanced in 2003 with the introduction of
fieldplusid - a module that enabled users
to produce their own MRS IID Cards complete with digital photos.
The field system was designed from the outset to control every
aspect of Interviewer and Job functions and
has become the market leader of field management software within
the UK. This could not have been achieved without the full and on-going
support of our clients.
The system provides users with an extremely wide range of features
and functionality to assist in the daily administration of the Interviewers
work and with Quality Control. In addition it also provides
full traceability to IQCS, MRQSA and BS7911
standards.
For the larger users, certain functionality has been particularly significant. We now have client companies with branch offices all
over the country linked via central servers, utilising Citrix
and Microsoft Terminal Server technology. This allows all members
of the various field Departments within a company to share the same
resources and ensure that all Interviewer and Job records
are always totally up to date to allow Head Office to maintain total
control.
Given that two-thirds of our client companies are small to medium
in size, we have ensured that you don't need a full scale IT department
to run and support the software. The system will run as happily on
a single workstation as a Microsoft NT server. We have also
given careful thought to the pricing structure to enable the smaller
companies to take full advantage of all of the system functionality
and, as and when growth demands, simply take on additional licenses.
With regards to most of the features that have been built into the
system - all companies regardless of size - will enjoy the ease of
use and flexibility afforded by the new software. Moving between screens
and records couldn't be easier and access to the extensive range of
reports is always there at the click of a button on every data screen.
Built in calculator and calendar functions together with mail-merge
integration with Word and export facilities to Excel,
plus the option of emailing reports direct from the screen, give a
few tasters as to how the system has come of age.
In respect to specific functionality here too the system has been
transformed to ensure that all aspects of Interviewer and Job
handling, Quality Control and Payroll Processing
are comprehensively and easily controlled.
The Windows environment also provides us with the facilities of
being able to link seamlessly with external data files. Examples
